Duane Mass AIA. Architect, a sole proprietorship, was founded in 1994 when Duane left one of the regions largest Architectural and Engineering firms to begin his own firm serving medical clients. After much success, Duane founded Mass Architects, Inc., January 2000 in Edmond, Oklahoma. This one-person home-based firm has grown to 10 employees and is currently located in Downtown Oklahoma City.
Mass Architects, Inc. provides comprehensive building design for a variety of structures. Design, planning, interior design, site development, construction administration, and construction observation are just some of the services we offer.
Our expertise has grown to include: educational, commercial office/retail, industrial, and preservation work. Along the way, commercial and educational spaces have become a specialty of the office. Over the years, we have expanded our client base and marketed our abilities for low cost high quality school design solutions to many of the urban and rural districts in Oklahoma and surrounding states.
Mass Architects, Inc. has three experienced licensed architects, 6 interns, and support personnel that will allow us to complete your project on time. We utilize excellent resources for estimating and providing quality assurance and quality control for our services.
Mass Architects, Inc. initiates the discussion of scope and design by asking the owner how the external environment affects the working environment of their space. Obviously, no organization can exist in isolation from the external environment, which includes ecology, aesthetics, mechanical systems, access to a substantial technological environment, and cultural beliefs. We then research how positive changes in these could affect and better the organization as a whole.
We then seek the most efficient circulation for the existing or new areas of building growth. The projects effectiveness is influenced by evaluation, adaptation, graduation and innovation.
This office has completed some of Oklahomas most challenging projects such as animal reproduction and research labs, caviar processing facilities and underground emergency operations. All of these diverse projects bring with them a unique learned set of skills which will always shed light and bear fruit in seemingly unrelated projects.
